Here's The Proof...

It seems that we have a competitor that is a stickler for proof. So, being the fair and honest competitors that we are here at Mater-Master, we went ahead and jumped through hoops...  literally, to show that Lush Puppy V has crossed the finish line ahead of all the other maters in this contest.

But before we actually claim victory, we here at Mater-Master will give the other guys a chance to gracefully concede this contest after having an opportunity to view the evidence.

As I mentioned, we actually did jump through hoops.  To show beyond a shadow of a doubt that Lush Puppy V measures up to this VICTORY, we fabricated a hoop to slip around his chubby cheeks to illustrate that he is one big boy indeed.

Below is a photo of Lush Puppy V on the vine as of this morning, June 8, 2013.

The next photo will give a sense of proportion, (at least to those that have one) of the mater's girth as compared to the cardboard hoop that he has to jump through.

Here is a photo of that hoop slipped tightly around his hips with the measurements showing so you can see that he easily exceeds the 9" circumference. The 9 inch mark is slightly to the left of the top center of the photo.  The overlap occurs where to blue ink marks are made at about 10 9/16".

And finally, the hoop is removed from the mater and unrolled and laid against a measuring tape to verify the length.

It appears that the left edge of the tape and the edge of the cardboard are about 3/16" out of sync.  I think that the edge of the cardboard folded under some when I rolled the loose end of the cellophane tape around it.  But no mater, even if you take away that 3/16" the mater is still well over 10" and actually about 10 3/8" in circumference.

So I believe that illustrates the actually size of this Winning Mater even to the toughest critic. And oh yes, he has some big boy brothers following right behind him!

Well my worthy competitors.... what is your verdict?

Just to follow-up on the stats, the Champion mater weighed in at 9.2 oz. Over 1/2 pound of delicious mater goodness. Image, this guy alone could be sold for over $1.00.

I'll have to check with the Investor to see what he was expecting for an R.O.I. (Return On Investment)
