I just thought that today I would show an update of the Mater-Master at work.
Here is a view of the Mater-Master with the current plantings enjoying the sunshine. It is actually kinda cool out as the sun is going down. It is probably around 58 degrees F. here when this photo was taken. I checked the inside thermometers just after I took the photo and the top area of the greenhouse was 81 degrees F. The lower portion of the greenhouse was 78 degrees F.
As you can see in the photo the roof vent is almost closed. The temperature sensitive cylinder that controls the roof vent position has automatically closed down the vent opening, maintaining the inside temperature at around 80 degrees F.

Here are some of the other plants at various stages. On the left are the cauliflower, in the center a new crop of lettuce that I just thinned out today and to the right are some cilantro and parsley. On the lower shelves are rosemary, basil, parsley, oregano and chives.

Hope you are all doing well and that all of the little maters are busy trying to grow big!

Well Pop you sure do have some good veggies in there!
You are correct, my boss had me buried this past week and my rain dancing was limited. Let your maters get it while they can cause it's the weekend and I'm gonna shake a leg!
I'll also be posting some fabulous mater babies on my blog.
Sherrie, shake a leg but be careful! Your over fourty now!
Looking forward to seeing the fabulous mater baby photos. Mine have had a couple days of great sunshine. Hope your boss keeps you busy next week.!
Also, your Mom and I went to a local question and answer get-together, sponsored by the Herb Society. It was held at the Pawleys Island Library. They had a bunch of knowledgeable people there that would answer your gardening questions. Your Mom and I cornered the guy from Clemson Extension and a man that owned a nursery. Talk to the two of them for about 45 minutes. Got some good information. Oh, by the way, they are totally sold on worm compost tea and worm compost - best stuff on earth!
Got some more "stuff" I'll be adding to my arsenal. All will be shown as we go along!
Enjoy the day!
