Snug as a Bug!

Another very sunny day here at Mater-Master, but a bit cold.  Looks like Sherrie must have been given an assignment by her boss today.  She apparently hasn't had time to work on her counter-measures.  Seems that Mike is pretty busy too.  Wonder what's up?  Haven't heard from either of them.

I just thought that today I would show an update of the Mater-Master at work.

Here is a view of the Mater-Master with the current plantings enjoying the sunshine.  It is actually kinda cool out as the sun is going down.  It is probably around 58 degrees F. here when this photo was taken.  I checked the inside thermometers just after I took the photo and the top area of the greenhouse was 81 degrees F.  The lower portion of the greenhouse was 78 degrees F.

As you can see in the photo the roof vent is almost closed. The temperature sensitive cylinder that controls the roof vent position has automatically closed down the vent opening, maintaining the inside temperature at around 80 degrees F.

Here are some of the other plants at various stages. On the left are the cauliflower, in the center a new crop of lettuce that I just thinned out today and to the right are some cilantro and parsley. On the lower shelves are rosemary, basil, parsley, oregano and chives.

Here are the Magnificent Seven on the top shelf, how appropriate!  And the lower photo is another view of the the greenhouse.  Tomorrow will be (4) weeks since they were planted.
